It is very important to keep this in mind because your loved one might not even remember you when you are in the situation where you have to make sure you are understanding why someone might not remember you. This can be psychologically challenging because you love this person, but they may not remember you at all.
The point is to say that you will have to deal with some of the psychological damage that can come with the work of helping a patient that has memory care needs.
